In Doriza one can find pure honey, home raised chickens and eggs, home made hilopites and trahana (both made from milk, eggs an flour and both having sustained the population over the many difficult times). There are also “mironia and kafkalithres”, the exquisite wild grown greens with unique aroma that grow in Doriza.
There are two places where people meet to have a cup of coffee or a glass of “ouzo” and chat or even eat: the cafenio of Panos Lymperopoulos an the “Taverna tou Yiatrou (The Doctor’s Tavern) where one can taste the deliciously prepared specialities by the doctor, Kostas Lymperopoulos.
